First post! Today's outfit features one of my new favorite pieces! I picked up these Madewell "9" High-Rise Skinny Jeans in Bristow Plaid" yesterday from Goodwill, and I think they're going to be a late fall/winter staple for me. That's most likely because they remind me of Christmas. They were for sale (and are now sold out) from Madewell's website for $128. I paid $6.49 from Goodwill, so what a steal!! There's a few pairs listed for sale on resale sites like Poshmark, but there's not really any out there for sale on other websites that are the same colors.
Here in Los Angeles, it doesn't really get cold, or at least "cold" in the rest of the world's terms. But, under 70 degrees normally means a jacket, so I opted for this Jones Wear Sport tan corduroy(?) jacket. One of the buttons is sadly missing, but I got it at one of the Goodwill Outlets, which was $1.99 a pound for textiles. I still plan on wearing it, most of the time I don't have my jacket fully buttoned/zipped anyway.
I got the tank in March from the Madewell store at the Grove, before I started ever thrifting out here.  It's called the "Anthem Crop Cami" and mine is in the color "heather chrome," but there is also "true black" and "heather parchment." It's available for sale now and actually on sale online for $14.50, and it's normally $19.50. You can buy it here: http://bit.ly/2hsdBiA (not an affiliate link). I tied it up in the back since it is rather flowy and I did not want the tank to take away from the jeans.
I have never, ever been a belt person, but I found one that I LOVE! I got it brand new with the original tag still attached at Goodwill for $3.99, but it was originally from H&M for $17.99. What I like about it is that it buttons together in the back and has elastic on the sides, and leather on the front on either side of the big four silver chains linked. I've been wearing this belt a ton lately, and these pants gap a little in the back, so the belt is awesome for making them look like they fit perfectly.
The boots I got from some huge mall where the BCBG store was going out of business. The shoes were 80% off, and they were originally $149 (the label was still stuck to the bottom off my shoe- they're the style "Rocco), so I paid a little under $30 for them. If you google "BCBG Rocco Boots" some will be for sale, but I don't believe any are in the black color I have.
